HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO!

Right Now I'm Feelin' Like This.

I guess it could be all the rainy weather in NYC...boooooooooooo.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot

HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO!

And I quote, Wiki, that is:

"Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for "fifth of May") is a regional holiday in Mexico, primarily celebrated in the state of Puebla, with some limited recognition in other parts of Mexico. The holiday commemorates the Mexican army's unlikely defeat of French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of Mexican General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín.

While outnumbered, the Mexicans defeated a much better-equipped French army that had known no defeat for almost 50 years.
(WORD TO YOUR MOMS - DOWN WITH THE INFIDEL, B-RAE's aside) However, Cinco de Mayo is not "an obligatory federal holiday" in Mexico, but rather a holiday that can be observed voluntarily.

While Cinco de Mayo has limited significance nationwide in Mexico, the date is observed in the United States and other locations around the world as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride. However, a common misconception in the United States is that Cinco de Mayo is Mexico's Independence Day, which actually is September 16 (dieciséis de septiembre in Spanish),the most important national patriotic holiday in Mexico."

MOON IN LIBRA 5/4 - 5/7

in

Moon in Libra
May 4, 2009 to May 7, 2009
You're Ginger Rogers today. And everyone and everything you meet is Fred Astaire. During this Libra Moontime think "grace in space." If you meet an obstacle or encounter resistance, dance like you expected it to be there. Libra's skill is knowing just how to receive whatever shows up. The trick is recognizing its beauty, which is all there is to diplomacy and charm. Any "couple tension" on this Moon is especially instructive. With as much neutrality as you can muster, examine the feedback loop of offering and receiving. If your lower back hurts, you might be doing too much or expecting too much from others. Court the idea that all the support you need lies within, as in a yoga balancing posture. This Moon asks, "Can you keep the peace and your balance at the same time?" The atmosphere is light and neutral today. It's okay to be indecisive. Enjoy the ability to dance (gracefully) around the possibilities.

The intuitive and emotional Moon is in relationship-loving Libra, encouraging you to approach your lover -- or your potential love interest -- with an open mind and open arms. If ultimate love can be reached and misunderstandings can be overcome, this is the time it is most possible. courtesy tarot.com

HERE WE GO AGAIN...the 2nd Mercury Retrogade of 2009

Get Prepared for Mercury Mix-Ups

May 4th, 2009 by Shannon Day
Use the first part of the week to get around anything Mercury retrograde might try to get wrong. Preparation now will save lots of trouble later. Use the Sun and Saturn to help you organize and prepare. Make sure to tend to cars, computers and important calls now. Then feast on the Full Moon in deliciously sexy Scorpio on the weekend! Learn more with skyvibe!

MORE ON THIS MERCURY RETROGRADE:
(courtesy astrology.com)
Mercury, the planet of communication, goes retrograde for the second time this year on May 6-7 (depending upon your time zone). Mercury normally turns retrograde three times a year -- however, in 2009 Mercury turns retrograde four different times. The effects of each retrograde period differ depending on the sign in which it occurs. This time around, Mercury is turning retrograde in Gemini -- its home base. Mercury is the ruler of Gemini!

Both Gemini and Mercury govern communications, the way we pick up information and process thoughts. Mercury rules thinking and perception, processing and disseminating information and all means of communication, commerce, education and transportation. Mercury retrograde gives rise to personal misunderstandings as well as flawed, disrupted or delayed communications, negotiations and trade glitches, and breakdowns with phones, computers, vehicles.

This retrograde period, step back from decision-making, agreements, contracts and use this review time to your benefit. Write down the pros and cons of everything since your mind will not settle on anything one hundred percent! When Mercury turns direct on May 30, you'll have greater clarity and are more likely to make good decisions. If possible, avoid buying communication-related products such as computers and phones. Keep receipts if you do. If you are traveling, double-check your reservations and bring a good book to read and plenty of games for the kids in case you are delayed. From late in the evening of May 13 through the end of the retrograde period, Mercury will be transiting the sign of Taurus, the sign ruling money. Decisions about investments and handling of finances should also be put off during this period.

Like any cosmic event, this retrograde affects each of us differently depending on how it's positioned in our personal birth charts. A Mercury retrograde period may be very prosperous for those who have retrograde Mercury, or a well-aspected Mercury, in their birth charts.

While a retrograde period may be an introspective time for all of us, if Gemini is prominent in your chart, you will have more than your usual share of introspection. Gemini is a mutable sign, so if other mutable signs -- Pisces, Virgo, Sagittarius -- are prominent in your chart, you will also experience a period of intense self-examination.

BASICALLY, When Mercury Turns Retrograde: Think Before You Speak!‏

SO NOW YOU KNOW.

HA! I've been having a comic renaissance, and I found Reckless Tortuga a while back (sorry I didn't put you on sooner!). I'm luvin' this skit at the moment. AND NOW 'YALL KNOW! Don't get your GYRL twisted or you'll see just like Mr. Buy My Homemade CD. tee hee hee

And Now You Know.

CENSORSHIP

This one is pretty darn funny too: CRAZY SEX

OMG, He went there - "Dumb Bitch." LMAO!

TWILIGHT PARODY - "I'll see you fragile humans later."

This sketch is Borderline annoying, but there are a couple of great Moments (in my opinion anyway)

1. After he finds out the news is incorrect he does a double take, and in an instant the posters he tore down out of duress are twilight magically back on the wall.

2. V8 = blood Takes a sip from the V8 bottle, then oops, "Blood, mmmmm."

LMFAO, hope you will too Luvies!!!
