In the whilrwind that has been the past two months, I almost forgot to post this video. It's of your GYRL being interviewed by Karina Huber of Reuters News on 7.7.09 in Times Square during the Michael Jackson Memorial. Not an easy day at all! It was especially tough when the Jackson brothers ushered in the gold casket, and again when little Paris spoke, I can relate being I lost my dad around almost the same age. Parents are "supposed" to go before the kids, but loosing them at THAT early of an age, and let me just tell you, THAT SHIT SUCKS! Your family, especially children, are forever in my heart and prayers MJ.

Honestly, I haven't written anything since the sudden, massive loss of the Musical Love of my Life...been kinda in the dumps, but alas, today is MJ's Memorial Service in L.A. @ the Staple Center (and private burial for the family?). So, as they lay the King to Rest, I figure I should lay my aching heart to rest, at least aside, as well -though there will no doubtedly be sharp pangs of pain from time to time for months to come, if not years...loss is not easy, but we must try to keep it Positive and think of it as an Ascension 'ya feel me :)

Which brings me to my first post in like 2 weeks, that's like suicide to a blog I know, but my heart just wasn't in it...

Today, the King is Memorialized at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Supposedly, to be like no event that city has ever seen. If TMZ and PopEater are correct, MJ was laid to rest in a private ceremony for the family yesterday at Forest Lawn Cemetary in Los Angeles.

Such a publicly lead life, it's AMZING he was with us as long as he was - 'Yall know what usually happens to child stars. At his passing,, let us be more Appreciative of the time he was with us LUVIES! Keep Good Music & BRILLIANT Artists Close, and Your Loved Ones Even Closer!!!

I racked up last night, but yeah, most of the goodies are gone. I couldn't find anything on my list, No Feist, No Interpol, No Faith Evans, No Ryan Leslie aka R-Les, No Gwen Stefani, NOT EVEN any Madonna or Mike, and they are catalog heavy...alas, if you go without any specific intentions, you JUST might come across some long-standing favorites, I picked the Back to the Future II and The Lost Boys dvd's, so, though I may have lost the battle for my immediate favorites, I think I won war of classic quality.
